But in case you were not exactly sure what Attraction Marketing is let me give you my quick definition… The marketing technique used to create raving fans by providing both free and paid content to a targeted market(through any medium) to position their products or themselves as the market experts… Now, to me, “attraction marketing” plays a role in all of your life. However for the sake of time we’ll stick to how it pertains to your business..
Now, think about the last purchase you made… Now, i’m not talking about milk here, however, attraction marketing may have played a very subtle role there as well. Lets take more obvious example to start.
Let’s look at your last purchase over $500… What was it a nice HD TV? New furniture? Doesn’t really matter… To start, I want you to try to recall the whole experience… I mean all of it, what made you want the television in the first place? Was it something you had planned for a while now? Or was it a sudden need of furniture?
Either way, most likely you had been “attracted” to that specific product without even knowing it… Maybe you saw that brand on your old TV? Or maybe you heard the furniture stores commercial on your car radio… Again, the specifics don’t matter, my point its just that there was something that drew you to that product, something you were atrracted to.
That’s attraction marketing, and it can be used to bring You customers, team members and clients… It just starts with traffic. Online and offline… It’s the same either way you need prospects to ever gain a customer or team member. The more people you get your message in front of the more successful your business can become.
Now, permission marketing is a very close relative of attraction marketing and uses similar principles. Any way you look at it, not applying this technique to your business, no matter what that business is crazy.
